Skills and planned tools, clearly labeled.
The local skills framework is documented. Timers, alarms and the preinstalled everyday pack remain planned 1.0 additions, not yet release-verified. Notes is available separately.
Current framework. Planned pack.
The intended pack is described below; it is not current release proof. Available skill packages use the existing local sandbox.
Kitchen timers
Planned · not release-verified Planned 1.0 capability, not yet release-verified: several named kitchen timers with on-screen countdowns and completion sounds. Restart timing has not been established.
Alarms
Planned · not release-verified Planned 1.0 capability, not yet release-verified: speaker wake alarms. Do not rely on untested restart or offline-clock behavior.
Shopping list
"Add eggs to the shopping list." "What's on it?" "Clear it." From the desk or the couch through your phone, or from the store through Telegram if you connect it.
To-do lists
Several named lists: "the garage", "this week", "before the trip". Tick things off by voice or keyboard.
Notes
Type a thought or record clips of up to 60 seconds in Notes. Review the transcript, then choose Clean up, Develop idea, or Project checkpoint. Originals are saved separately from AI drafts; processing stays local in every mode. Suggestions need your review.
Unit converter
Fahrenheit to Celsius, miles to kilometres, ounces to grams, cups to millilitres.
World clock
"What time is it in Tokyo?" From the device clock.
Small, sealed, and yours to approve.
A skill is a small program with one job. The device runs it inside a locked-down sandbox, and you decide what gets installed.
Sealed from the internet
A skill has no network access at all. It can't phone home, and it can't reach your other devices.
No keys, no accounts
Skills never see your passwords, API keys, email or calendar. They get the words you gave them and nothing else.
Installed with your password
Skill management uses the documented API/CLI path. The proposed on-screen management journey is not yet release-verified.
Roll back any update
The previous version is kept, so a bad update can be rolled back with your password, and skills are in the nightly backup.
Browse, install, update, remove.
The proposed Skills screen is planned 1.0 scope, not yet release-verified. Available packages use the existing documented API/CLI path. Tinkerers can write their own: a skill is a short manifest and a Python file, and the format is documented in the device's source tree.
Timers, lists, and a lot more.
